Fantômas is not for just about anyone... There's hardly a lyric, mostly wicked scat, kinda like CHAK CHAK DADAK DAK! While the guitar is FAST and muddy. The bass is low and effective. The drums are fast, low, effective and wicked. Dave Lombardo plays quite unlike he does in Slayer. Less repetitive double kick drum stuff.

Their first album, Amenaza del mundo, is based on the concept of a comic book. Each song is a page in a comic book. Action! Drama! Rawk!

On their second album, Directors cut, Fantômas have rearranged songs from classic horror and suspense films.

This new album is only one long track, all original fantômas material with a theme of surgery. This is all i know... I'm rather excited about this release. They also have another album coming out called Suspended animation. Which is supposed to have a cartoon, nursery rhyme kinda theme... Sounds funkin awesome is all i know.

I stumbled across this site through the links page at boy on a stick and slithers links page. These arn't exactly comics, they are drawn cartoony and crude but it's a different form of art. Some of it is hilarious, some is it is serious, some's sad and sometimes theyre depressing. Kinda like radiohead! Yes, throw on KID A and head over to exploding dog!
